University Innovation Toolkit | DEC Executive Briefing #005
Recording
Universities and organisations around the world are seeking ways to boost innovation to stay ahead of the competition and better support students in their learning journey. In order to support these objectives, institutions are developing new innovation approaches, including innovation hubs, edtech and AI taskforces as well as new frameworks to manage the use of technology in higher education.
The panellists will present an Innovation Toolkit that provides a structured approach to the implementation of innovation. It aggregates a variety of resources and case studies to provide guidance for leaders seeking to answer questions such as: How to define the realm of innovation? What are the pre-requisites for effective innovation initiatives? How to implement succesful innovation hubs or initiatives? This Toolkit aims to complement existing guidance on innovation tools by the Digital Education Council through providing additional practical evaluation tools.
